What should I do first?
1. Upload information. Resumes. Performance reviews. Transcripts. Certifications. Anything you can connect that will help build a robust, information-dense profile. Don't think it matters? It might!
2. Review your profile. Once you upload information, make sure it accurately reflects your capabilities, training, experience and future goals. It is how the system matches and guides your next steps!
3a. Import a job to see how your profile stacks up. It's a copy-paste away and gives you insight into creating the best version of you for each individual role. Get tips on your strengths and what you need to address before applying!
3b. Explore our [BETA] jobs on the LifeWork jobs section under Professional Tab (career opportunities). Those roles allow you to explore the insights available when you apply for roles on LifeWork. There are two tabs right now- make sure you look at what you get from BOTH tabs. We think you will like what you see.
3c. Explore ALL jobs. Our focus is not on being a job board, but we do gather new jobs every day, and keep a fresh cycle f a few jobs from across the country at your fingertips. You can perform the same analysis on those jobs before you navigate to their site to submit your applications!
4. Military of Veteran? We have some additional options for you under the 'Personal' tab, and will be adding even more soon. Right now this is VA focused, but will soon include other benefit types like education and discounts that are available for you too.
5. Practice Interviews is a fantastic partner of ours, and for a limited time, get access to the platform for free. As we integrate these services, you will be able to automatically connect your career growth with Practice interviews, allowing you to set goals and achieve success when given the opportunity to show them who you are.
6. AcuMax assessment is another partner of ours designed to give you a little personal insight into yourself. Help identify the things that energize you vs. paralyze you. Find your ideal working style and identify how you like to be led, and how you choose to lead. All of these insights together help you find your fit.
7. Just...explore! There are things on the platform that are available for you to try, and more that will be releasing soon. Some things are already connected, and others are working to be connected.
